Imotska torta se vi\u0161e od dvjesto godina priprema u Imotskom za blagdane, ro\u0111endane, imendane, svadbe, te se nosi kao dar u razli\u010ditim prigodama. Austro ugarskom caru Franji Josipu za posjeta Imotskom 1875. godine servirana je Imotska torta za tu priliku izra\u0111ena s kru\u017eno istaknut<span class=\"text_exposed_show\"><span class=\"text_exposed_show\">im ro\u0161\u010di\u0107ima nalik na kraljevsku krunu i oni su i danas njezin ukras. Kasnije za carev ro\u0111endan Imo\u0107ani su caru slali ovu tortu, a s njom su u Be\u010d putovali imotski kapurali i to u mi\u0161ini kako bi zadr\u017eali svje\u017einu. Imotska torta se tradicionalno ne pe\u010de u obi\u010dnom kalupu za torte, nego u plitkom kalupu koso polo\u017eenih bridova koji se posebno naru\u010divao. Recept za Imotsku tortu iz ku\u0107e Jagul kao i recepti za Imotsku tortu obitelji Benzon, \u0106osi\u0107, Vu\u010demilovi\u0107, Colombani, Gjamonja, Franceschi, Vukovi\u0107, Furlan danas su \u010duvari imotske tradicije.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>IMOTSKA TORTA<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>1\/4 kg bajama oguljenih i samlivenih, 1\/4 kg cukra, 8 jaja \u017ebatiti<\/div>\n<div>1 bi\u0107erin rakije ili ro\u017eolja, kore od limuna.<\/div>\n<div>Napose napraviti tanak \u0161voj, izre\u017ei rodelom krug za 3, 4 prsta ve\u0107i nego \u0161to je dno kalupa. Polo\u017ei krug u namazanom kalupu i iskreni gornji nadjev i poravnaj.
